PI .. You are correct; this point is noted in the fouth paragraph:

"Without the sales tax increase to 6.25 percent that took effect August 1, 2009, FY10 collections would have been less than FY09. Sales tax revenue of $4.612 billion in FY 10 was $743 million more than in FY09, and that pushed the total revenue collection higher than in FY09."

I'd be curious to know how much of the $78-million is due to the 1.25% sales tax increase. That figure should not be interpreted as an upturn in the economy, no?

What criminals these people are for balancing their fraudulent overly inflated excessively high payroll blothed budgets on the backs of the poor and low waged working class. No worries, your days are numbered.
