Judy, the Senior Circuit Breaker Tax Credit is not limited to married couples. Single seniors may apply as well. You should check it out to examine your eligibility.

This sounds like a great program, but, I feel it should extend to single, divorced or widowed seniors that need the help more than seniors that are married and have dual incomes. Being a single head of the household and living in poverty, this tax credit would help me save my home from Non payment of property taxes.
